Service description and prices

The PSA presents a detailed service description and its pricing for clients for the concrete placement assignment. The costs actually incurred during the recruitment procedure are documented for the client on an ongoing basis.

What does the adaptation programme cost, or an explanation of the funding routes for the employer?

There are various cost routes

The adaptation programme itself:

• The adaptation programme is free of charge for the nurse
• As already mentioned, the APM comprises two parts. The theoretical and the practical part
• The theory part is delivered as classroom tuition with a certified training provider. As a rule this lasts 4 months. The practical part is completed in a medical facility; this lasts as a rule 6 months.
• The 4 months of tuition are paid 100% by the Bundesagentur für Arbeit (Federal Employment Agency) in the form of an education voucher (Bildungsgutschein) to the training centre.

Activity of the foreign nurse / salary

• The employer must already have been found before arrival. Without a valid employment contract, obtaining a visa is very difficult or rather impossible
• The employment contract provides for employment as an assistant for the foreign nurse; this applies until the professional certificate is received
• The employment contract is tied to the adaptation programme. That means immediately after arrival of the nurses (arrival is organised entirely by CareLend) the employment contract takes effect
• The foreign nurse receives a salary throughout the entire adaptation programme (theory as well as practice)
• During the theory period the employer receives up to 100% of the gross salary as an integration subsidy from the Bundesagentur für Arbeit. During the practical placement the employer receives no financial support from the employment agency
• The salary is as a rule governed by the collective agreements of the individual houses. This is a classification as a qualified assistant in the nursing field (qualified nurse pending recognition).

Fee to CareLend

• All entry arrangements, of whatever kind, cost the nurse nothing
• After arrival and the actual start of the nurses in the adaptation programme, CareLend invoices the employer an amount of €4,500 net. This is a flat fee for all costs incurred before the start of the APM.
• During the 10-month adaptation programme the nurse is supported by CareLend in various matters in order to relieve the HR department of the care facilities and to integrate the nurses locally.
• After receipt of the professional certificate and the nurse’s start as a skilled worker in the hospital, CareLend will issue an invoice amounting to 2 gross monthly salaries. Alternative payment arrangements gladly by agreement

The employer does not have to bear any other costs!
