Recruitment Process

We begin searching for suitable employees many months before the interview with the potential employer or even before a contract exists. Among other things, we pay attention to the following points:

• Does religious affiliation play a role (e.g., in the case of Christian sponsorship)?
• What language proficiency level do the candidates possess?
• What minimum requirements regarding professional experience, duration, and location should be met in Germany?
• What activities would you like to perform after receiving your German professional license?
• In which region of Germany would you like to live and work?
• What requirements must a place of residence meet regarding schools, daycare places, family or friends in the region in Germany?

Selection

Understanding of care: We assess whether the applicant is aware that care in Germany is based on three main pillars – basic care, medical treatment, and services such as the distribution of food and drinks. If the person has an aversion to, for example, basic care for cultural or religious reasons, placement in Germany will not be possible.

Verification of CV: Through cooperation with numerous medical institutions in the applicants' home country, we ensure that the professional experience stated in the CV is true.

Integration: Since we support the candidates for at least one year during the language training phase, we have the opportunity to closely observe the applicants' characteristics and determine whether they are able to successfully integrate into Western culture.

Authenticity of certificates and evidence: Only after we have verified the above points will our sales staff be informed that the applicant is available for placement and ready for a first interview. The pre-selection process also includes an examination of background, motivation, future plans, and tolerance for other cultures and beliefs. Furthermore, applicants must accept the German Basic Law and have no reservations about providing care to individuals of the opposite sex. We conduct the necessary personality test and the verification of these points within 12 months from our individual branches in the eight countries where we operate.

Language instruction from beginner level (A1) to intermediate level (B2) is organized before arrival.

• The process takes one year in countries where language training takes place.
• All work is combined with educational excursions to German cities.
• Online language cafés with native speakers are part of our language program.
• The period between the online interview and the visa appointment is useful for language instruction.
• In our language training center in Egypt, we have also worked with the aula24 learning program.

Language test

A B2 language test will be administered. Most of our branches in eight countries are certified ECL test centers. Proof of the B2 certificate will be provided to the employer before arrival.

We guide candidates through the professional recognition process and help prepare all required documents for submission to the relevant German authorities.

CareLend supports candidates with visa applications, document preparation, and compliance with German entry requirements for skilled healthcare workers.

Upon arrival in Germany, candidates receive welcome support to help them settle into their new environment and begin integration smoothly.

Our adaptation program prepares international nurses for professional practice and daily life in Germany through structured training modules.
