CareLend is your partner!
Who are we?
In this section we introduce the company in order to give a deeper insight into the respective activities of the company and to set out the extent to which we counteract the shortage of skilled workers. CareLend GmbH is a support and placement agency for non-academic healthcare professions. Our team organises a modern recruitment programme for qualified nurses from various countries. Since the founding year of the parent company (meieagentur24) in 2004 we have endeavoured to establish an effective link between employer and employee by accompanying nurses throughout their entire journey and at the same time contributing to the improvement of the German healthcare system.
In addition we also ensure effective problem-solving for any bureaucratic matters before and after placement. Thus the Saxony State Medical Association recommends meineagentur24 to medical professionals abroad with regard to a change of location and learning the specialist language*. For the time being we conduct a global selection process for qualified nurses with particular attention to a broad spectrum of specialisations. This includes especially, but not exclusively, workers from the EU and third countries. They come from regions such as the Middle East, North Africa (MENA states), Southeast Asia and South America.
Together with meineagentur24, CareLend GmbH organises the further training of foreign qualified nurses within an adaptation programme. The teaching focuses on specialist language and medical-nursing specialist knowledge. The aim is that the nurses receive their licence to practise within 10 months of the start of the adaptation programme and can be integrated into the German healthcare system. The pass rate for the examination required for this is, thanks to the competent team at CareLend GmbH, 100%.
In cooperation with meineagentur24, CareLend GmbH is also concerned with the organisation of language courses that participants attend as part of the qualification measure. Through our company the medical professionals receive tailored language courses and comprehensive preparation for the specialist language examination, also long before arrival in Germany. We have a specialised team of experienced teachers who are well prepared to support the qualified nurses with regard to education. With a view to later integration into the German healthcare system, this training is important insofar as it enables integration without any barriers into existing teams of medical professionals and ensures optimal communication with patients as well as work colleagues.
Our company attaches great importance to nurses being placed in suitable positions in medical facilities. CareLend GmbH’s task in this is to support the skilled workers for a further 2 years after they receive their licence to practise in Germany in all matters. This secures a stable relationship within these 2 years for both parties, for employees as well as for employers.
Through our competent support the qualified nurses experience extensive security. Even before their entry to Germany we ensure that the employment contract reaches them. In addition we take on the organisation of the visa for the purpose of the recognition procedure and taking up work. After entry our company organises the residence permit, work permit and subsequently at the end of the adaptation programme the licence to practise. From the first month of their adaptation programme in Germany the qualified nurses already receive their monthly salary. Should the original medical facility that agreed the employment contract with the foreign qualified nurse before entry no longer have a need for the qualified nurse, we undertake to place them with another medical facility. In this way we assure additional security for the qualified nurse to carry out permanent employment in a suitable medical facility in Germany.
Among the advantages for medical facilities is that the facilities we support have the assurance of being able to draw on a pool of nurses and elderly-care nurses to cover their need for qualified nurses. Likewise the medical facilities have no additional expenditure through social insurance, pension or long-term obligations in connection with the workers. Should the qualified nurse for any reason not fit into the team of the respective medical facility, the relationship can be terminated immediately and CareLend GmbH will immediately arrange a replacement who matches the facility’s requirement profile. In this way we bear the risk and relieve the potential employers.
Civil society likewise experiences numerous advantages through our work. We support covering the acute shortage of skilled workers by qualifying foreign qualified nurses. Managing Director Mohammed Behairy can, with his experience in the field of integrating qualified nurses from the EU and third countries, ensure that cultural differences between the nurses and the patients or also employers and colleagues will not lead to misunderstandings. In this way we set ourselves the goal of improving the reputation of medical professionals from abroad in general. Thus the fear of possibly “wrong” nurses from abroad, which is for the most part unfounded, can be eliminated.
