- What language level according to the CEFR* do you need for the licence to practise?
Under the Fachkräfte-Einwanderungsgesetz (Skilled Immigration Act) from 01.03.2020, not only graduates but also skilled workers with a professionally recognised qualification can work in Germany. For this you need a tested and demonstrated language level of at least B2.
For entry into Germany, proof of B1 is sufficient.
We recommend, however, that you should reach C1 level over time.

- What does B2 mean exactly?
This means, as described:
Listening: you understand most films and programmes on television when standard German, that is Hochdeutsch, is spoken.
Speaking: you can take part effortlessly in discussions and understand the other party’s views and arguments
Reading: you read and understand articles and reports on everyday events

Language courses
In the 11 countries in which we have branches, language tuition has been provided directly by us since mid-2020. In all other countries we organise language courses for our clients through the Goethe-Institut, TELC or ÖSD. Previously we had cooperation arrangements with numerous language schools.
Own language school/courses
We have our own language schools/courses in the following countries, offered through our branches on site: Morocco 2 locations, Tunisia 1 location, Egypt 9 locations, India,4 locations, Pakistan 1 location, Gulf states: 1 location each.
Our language courses cover not only the general language level from A1 to C1. We also offer special German courses for qualified nurses in which, alongside medical terminology, simulations of conversations between nurses and colleagues, doctors, patients/residents and their relatives are practised.
Language level on entry into Germany
At the start of the visa procedure we require at least language level B2.
In order to improve the language level continuously, we offer free language courses during the adaptation programme — if desired. The aim of the language courses in Germany is to obtain the C1 language certificate.
Is there quality management of the language school?
Our quality management begins with enrolment. With the help of reports from staff and language teachers in the countries of origin, we intensively review not only the development of language skills and further processes for preparing entry, but also our clients’ satisfaction. We place particular emphasis on comprehensive complaints management. Comments on social media are evaluated and discussed with the location managers. Our CRM is also used here; it records and prepares important key data and comments and supports us, for example, in process flows, crisis management and complaints management.
