An adaptation course prepares internationally trained nurses for German professional recognition. Under the Nursing Professions Act (PflBG), applicants whose training was completed abroad can bridge knowledge gaps through a structured programme focused on specialist language and nursing practice, then take the required examinations for their licence to practise.

Timelines depend on your documents, language level and the federal state (Bundesland). CareLend coordinates paperwork with the competent authorities and prepares you for the adaptation measure so you are not left alone between application, course and licence.
